Workflow optimisation and end-to-end development

Think Productive, global workplace learning & consultancy

I helped Think Productive, a global workplace learning consultancy, automate their free webinar management system and create a unified global landing page.

The solution eliminated hours of manual work across their multiple global offices, improved brand cohesion and became their highest-performing webpage, overtaking even their homepage for traffic.

About Think Productive

Think Productive is a global workplace learning and consultancy business delivering practical, human-centred workplace training and leadership programmes. They help people do their best work and feel good doing it.

Think Productive operate across multiple countries, with offices in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, UAE and Western Europe.

Goals for this project

  • Reduce time spent manually managing webinar listings across global offices
  • Create a unified global landing page for all free webinars
  • Automate the publishing and removal of webinar content
  • Provide multi-language translation for international audiences
  • Showcase both live and on-demand webinars in one central hub
  • Improve brand cohesion across global locations

The challenges

Think Productive was running free webinars globally, but each office operated independently with no synchronisation. The biggest pain points included:

Manual content management

Staff across all global offices were manually adding and removing each webinar from the website.

Time-intensive process

Masses of administrative work duplicated across multiple locations.

Outdated content

Webinars that had already finished often remained on the website for days if the responsible person was away or on holiday

Fragmented approach

No unified view of all available webinars for global customers.

Language barriers

No translation capability for international audiences.

Limited visibility

On-demand webinars weren't being showcased alongside live sessions.

My solution

I built a fully automated global Skills Booster Hub that eliminated manual work and unified Think Productive's webinar offering worldwide.

Automated webinar management

System automatically publishes upcoming webinars and removes them after they've finished, eliminating all manual content updates.

Global unified landing page

Single hub showcasing all webinars across every country and office.

Multi-language translation

Built-in translation feature allowing visitors to view content in their preferred language.

Live and on-demand sections

Showcases both upcoming live webinars and recorded on-demand content in one place.

Brand cohesion tools

Enabled Think Productive to align webinar themes and messaging across global locations.

Scalable architecture

Built to handle growth and additional offices without increasing administrative overhead.

Technologies used

  • Custom WordPress plugin for the user interface, allowing different website owners to display the data
  • Supabase for the API (written in Deno and TypeScript)
  • PostgreSQL for data storage
  • Zoom API and Webhooks for retrieving webinar information and real-time updates
  • DeepL API for automated translations (stored in the database)
  • OpenAI API for automated metadata categorisation

Testimonial

“Kerri at Razor Sharp demonstrated incredible levels of understanding and patience whilst working on this project with us. We had multiple stakeholders involved in this project and Kerri communicated clearly throughout in language that made sense. He came up with clever and creative solutions to keep costs down and was able to turn our ideas into reality without making things complicated for us. We would work with Kerri again and again!”

Frequently asked questions

What types of workflows can be automated?

Almost any repetitive business process can be automated. Common examples include content management, data synchronisation, reporting, notifications, file processing, and admin tasks. I'll analyse your current processes and identify the best automation opportunities.

How much time and money can automation save?

The savings depend on your current workflow complexity. Think Productive eliminated hours of monthly admin work across their global offices. Most automation projects pay for themselves within months through time savings and improved efficiency.

How long does it take to implement workflow automation?

Simple automations can be implemented in 2-4 weeks. More complex systems might take 8-12 weeks. I'll provide a detailed timeline after understanding your specific requirements during the discovery phase.

Can you integrate with my existing systems?

Yes, I can build integrations with most platforms via APIs, webhooks or direct database connections. Common integrations include CRMs, payment processors, marketing tools, internal systems and third-party services (like Zoom).
